CHINESE WEDDING

Donald Trump Wins the 2016 Election

In one of the most expected USA elections,Donald Trump has defeated Hillary Clinton and won the presidency.
“I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be president for all Americans,  I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so we can work together and unify our great country.” He says after the announcement of his victory.
About her opponent, he says that she has worked very long and very hard over a long time, and that they owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to their country.
As president, Trump has promised he will build a wall along the border with Mexico, suspend the Syrian refugee resettlement program and repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act and renegotiate NAFTA.
This is the electoral map of the results, Hillary Clinton won the absolute majority in 18 states, and Trump in 28 states.

I didn't want and neither was hoping that Trump will win the elections, since he is a narcissist, racist, homophobe and a sexist person. Clinton was not my favourite candidate, but she was a better option than Trump. Personally, I wanted that the Green Party of the United States wins.
If I have to say something good about Trump I would say that he fought for his objectives to the end and he didn't give up until he accomplished them. And about Clinton I would say that she has a large experience in politics and she would have been a very good president.
Donald Trump has a lot of negative points, but if I have to choose, I would choose that he made a lot of offensive commentaires about women and obout Clinton that she promises to support more Israel against Palestinians.

MY SUMMER

This year I wasn't working because I do the 16 in August so I really enjoyed my summer.

I started this summer doing the Ramadan so I couldn't do many things till it finished because I didn't have much energy. I passed the June here, in Spain with my friends and we did the typical things, which are made in the summer: go to the beach, go to the pool and go carting, which was a disaster because I crashed. At the end of the month, Esther and Judith invited me and other people to their house of Portbou to spend a day of the Festa Major. We were 10 persons, and we went by train all together after buying the food for the three days. In summ

ary, at the morning we went to the beach and in the night to the party. Also, was Pau's birthday and we made him a cake. I spent a great time and was like a good-bye because the next week I was going to Morocco. This year I went only with my younger sister because my parents had to work, so I stayed at my aunt's house and with my cousins.

We were also to the beach and we do a lot of things like every year, so I spent a great time with them too. When I had to return I cried a lot because I spent the 24 hours of an entire month with my aunts and uncles so I was accustomed to being with them and also because maybe the next summer I would not go because I will start working.

Rage Against the Machine released "Killing in the Name" as their debut single in 1992, showing their unique fusion of rap and rock from the beginning. It's a furious song about racism, police brutality and defiance, repaeting in a furious cry: "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me." It has the power to move a crowd like no other song in human history.

This song has been linked to the 1992 Los Angeles race riots that followed the acquittal of four police officers accused of assault and using excessive force in a videotaped beating of Rodney King.

I choose this song, ''Heal the world'' of Michael Jackson because I like it and makes me feel good and relaxed. Michael Jackson wrote and produced this song himself. The Heal The World Foundation, which Jackson founded in 1992 to improve the conditions for children worldwide, was named after this song.
The message that Michael Jackson are trying to communicate is that we have to help each other and be together to make the world a better place.

Why does this woman think she is ugly?

Alanah has 20 years old and thinks she's ugly, which it isn't truth. She suffers from Body Dysmorphic Disorder a condition that causes people to become obsessed with perceived defects in their appearance. One in 50 people suffers from BDD, but many of us and even some doctors don't know the existence of this disorder.
"I thought it was cruel for other people to have to see my face, that it really is disgusting," says Alanah.

At the age of 14 the symptoms began to appear and she started to check repeatedly her appearance in the mirror and her make-up routine could last four hours, and even after this she often felt too anxious to leave her house, for example she started to be absent to school. Finally, her condition was identified at the Maudsley Clinic in south London and began to go at therapy sessions.

Alanah courageously decided to confront her condition participating in No Body's Perfect, on BBC Four and let a photographer make photos to her for help other people to recognise the disorder as soon as posible. The photos of Alanah taken by the BBC are now hanging in her family home.

Alanah's recovery is going well, she'is now at university studying psychology and hopes to go on to research of BDD for a PhD.

I think all the people have to love and accept themselves because we cannot change what we are and that is why we must have a very high self-esteem. I think that this disorder comes from the society's research of perfection, young people are becoming more obsessed with having always a prefect hair, the best make-up, the latest fashion clothes and the prettiest shoes.

MY FAVOURITE FILM

My favourite film is called Titanic and has taken has taken twelve Oscars
It's a love story which takes place on a giant ship called "Titanic". A girl, called Rose, travels to America with her husband and mother. Jack, another boy at the same age with her, wins a ticket while he's playing cards. He and his Italian friend Fabrizio win it together, so they pack their things and get onto the ship.
When Jack and Rose meet, they fall in love. They started a relationship secretly, because Rose is married and Jack is poor. But, unfortunately, the ship sinks.
They try to save themselves climbing on some furniture, but the water is very cold and Jack can't stand it. He dies and Rose gets on the lifeboat, which comes a little later.
At the end, Rose dies at a very old age and gets on her own heavenly at Titanic, being young with Jack.
It's very touching, especially at the end.

"Naomi Watts And Liev Schreiber Split After 11 Years Together''

Another week, another Hollywood split.
The couple Naomi and Liev who have two children together, confirmed they had decided to go their separate ways on Monday (26 Sept), just days after Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced they were to divorce.
They have been together for 11 years.
In a joint statement, they said: “Over the past few months we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple."
And they added: “While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy.”
They never married but have two sons together, Samuel and Alexander.
Earlier this month they were seen putting on an affectionate display at the Toronto International Film Festival when they walked hand-in-hand on the red carpet.
And just last week Naomi shared a snap of her husband and son, Alexander, on Instagram before they headed to the Emmys together.

I think that everyone has the right to do with their life and couple what they think is appropriate. They, Naomi and Liev, decided that separate is the best thing for both and has to be respected for the fans and the press. Sometimes the gossip press can be meddler and that can cause problems to the celebrities, after all, in this case, there are children in the middle.

PRESENTATION

Hello, my name is Fatine Ikane and I'm 16 years. I was born in Tetuan, a small town in Morocco in August 10. I live in a house in Castelló Nou with my parents and my two sisters, Douaa my old sister and Malak, my young sister. I studied primary school in Joana d'Empuries and there I practiced Rhythmic Gymnastics for three years. My hobbies are hanging out with my friends, listen ing to music and reading. I don't have a favourite food, but I really like fruit, pizza and lemon cakes. I hate beans and meatloaf. My dream is to visit every country in the world and know new cultures and traditions. I also love animals. I don't do any sport because I'm quite lazy.

I'm studying first in scientific high school, and I would like to go to college, but I'm not sure what degree to choose yet.

Finally, in the future, I want to go live in Tetuan, my hometown, because there is almost all my family and I love the atmosphere and the people.

EXPERIENCES

-I have already been to Morocco. Morocco is the country where I was born. I go almost every year during the summer. I like very much going because, besides that my family lives there, I love the atmosphere that there is.

-I have already jumped a cliff. This summer, we went  with my family and cousins to an amazing rocky beach. On that beach, my father and my aunts were jumping from a cliff when they were young, so I decided to do it and it was incredible.

-I have already ridden on a horse. In sixth grade we went to Vall de Núria with school, where we did several activities, including horseback riding. It was a very amazing experience, and I will repeat it in the future.

-I haven't been diving. One of my dreams is diving in a paradisiacal beach to see the colorful coral reefs and reef fish.

-I haven't been to Thailand. It is a country that has always attract my attention, for their islands, nature, temples, cities and mountains.

-I haven't gone parachuting. Because it is an unforgettable experience and feel a real adrenaline flight

REQUIEM

Requiem is the third and final book of the Delirium Trilogy.
The novel is told from two perspectives; Lena Haloway's in the Wilds and Hana Tate's in Portland.
After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancé of the young mayor.

MARIETA ISLANDS

The Hidden Beach of Marieta Islands was formed by military testing and volcanic activity; photo courtesy of Vallarta AdventuresThey are a small group of uninhabited islands a few miles off the North coast of the Banderas Bay, with two main volcanic islands dating from around 60,000 years ago, one called Isla Redonda (Round Island) and the other Isla Larga (Long Island).
These islands are a real natural treasure. In the early 1900s the military used the sight for weapons testing until scientist Jacques Cousteau advocated for its protection—now, fishing, hunting, or even stepping foot in the area is prohibited by the government.
You could get into the crater by either jumping off the ledge on top and into the sea below or swimming through a short tunnel carved by the sea from the ocean side and into the crater, where you'll be able to land on this incredible beach.

Why You Shouldn’t Ride Elephants

Elephant River BathEveryone wants to ride elephants in Thailand. Including me. That was until I searched information in Internet and learned the disturbing truth about this popular activity.

Wild elephants won’t let humans ride on top of them. So in order to tame a wild elephant, it is tortured as a baby to completely break its spirit. The process is called Phajaan, or “the crush”. It involves ripping baby elephants away from their mothers and confining them in a very small space, like a cage or hole in the ground where they’re unable to move. The baby elephants are then beaten into submission with clubs, pierced with sharp bull-hooks, and simultaneously starved and deprived of sleep for many days.

Saving Elephants in ThailandElephant mistreatment doesn’t stop after they’ve been tamed. Many elephant camps continue to employ bull-hooks to control the animals. While they may not be stabbing them constantly like they did in training, it’s the fear of being stabbed that’s used to motivate them to work.

Elephant Nature Park (ENP) is a natural sanctuary tucked away in the beautiful jungles of Northern Thailand. Their mission is to protect & care for mistreated elephants rescued from the tourism and logging industries.
You get to participate in many fun elephant activities at ENP. You can feed them fresh fruit, watch them play in the mud, go on walks with them, and even get into the river to help give them a bath!

A ROMANTIC MOVIE

''Remember me''

A romantic drama centered on two new lovers: Tyler, who his brother recently committed suicide, his father pays no attention to him and his sister need him. Ally, who her mother was murdered right in front of her when she was young and her father is a cop who is very over protective of her.
When the two meet they have a very strong love, but many secrets are revealed that may ruin their love for each other.

The end is very sad because Tyler died in the terrorist attack on the twin towers of 2001, I found it very unexpected and sad though that makes it different and it was good.

A UNESCO World Heritage List

Desembarco del Granma National Park

It's a national park in southeast Cuba, spectacular for its limestone terraces descending down to and below the sea. Famous as the cradle of the Cuban revolution, and for its archaeological sites.

I want to go because I love paradisiacal islands and nature. I believe it to be the perfect place to spend my summer holidays, because has empty beaches, it's quite and peaceful, full of locals and finally there are a lots of street grilled fish.

LOVE SONG

[Verse 1]
Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone?
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow
One step closer

[Chorus]
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

It is fong for Breaking Dawn Part 2. Talking about how Edward waited so long to find the girl who he was meant to love.

HOLIDAY'S PICTURE

This photo was taken in Siena, Italy. It is very meaningful for me and I have chosen it because I appear with Paula and she was my travel partner. We spend all the trip together and we laughed a lot. With her I can be myself completely.

Paula appears hugging me while we were walking near a shop. It was taken from behind.
It transmits me peace, harmony, affection and unity. It inspires me sympathy because apart from the fact that we take a similar purse, we have the same position with the legs. In addition, the photo was taken spontaneously and without we knowing it.

Palau Robert Picture

This picture shows hundreds of families held up at the train station because the Croatian authorities were unable to cope with the continual arrival of refugees.

We can see that there is a mass of men, women and children, waiting at the station with their few clothes. In my opinion, their faces show disappointment, weariness and desperation. This photo makes me feel very sad because these people left their homes, many of them with their children, to survive. They look for a better life in a better place, but there are many problems in the way, as this block.

Every time that I see pictures like this, my problems become insignificant and I feel fortunate for what I have, since it's just a coincidence not be in their situation.

GORILLA POACHING

An undercover investigation has found that up to two gorillas are killed and sold as bushmeat each week in Kouilou, a region of the Republic of Congo. The apes' body parts are then taken downriver and passed on to traders who sell them in big-city markets.

Conducted by the conservation group Endangered Species International, the investigation helps expose the extent of gorilla poaching in the country. It fears hundreds more gorillas may be taken each year outside the region.

"According to interviews and field surveys, we think we may have about 200 gorillas left in the area" says Mr Fidenci, president of Endangered Species International (ESI).

The poachers particularly target adult gorillas of reproductive age which carry the most meat. With such heavy hunting, the researchers believe gorillas could disappear from the region within a decade.

PANDEMONIUM

Pandemonium is the second novel in the Delirium Trilogy.
The novel is split into two narratives; "Then" which describes Lena's struggle for survival in the Wilds and "Now" which describes her work for the resistance in New York .
Then: Lena Haloway has just crossed over Portland border's into the Wilds but she is almost certain her love, Alex, is dead. She herself would have died too if she had not stumbled onto a group of Invalids, headed by a woman named Raven, who nurse her back to health.
Now: Several months have passed and Lena Haloway has joined the resistance along with Tack and Raven, are working in New York, observing the Deliria-Free America (DFA). Resistance entrusted with a mission: not to lose sight of Julian Fineman, son of the DFA's president.
On the day of a big rally and just before the time when Julian is supposed to be cured, a group of scavengers break in and cause chaos while also taking Julian and Lena as hostages. Julian and Lena are at first hostile to each other in their cell, especially since Lena sees him as the part of the people who killed Alex. However, the two begin to warm up to each other and reveal things about their pasts.
Lena manages to knock out one of their captors and with Julian's help, they are both able to escape into the tunnels. Julian eventually reveals to her the full extent of his father's anger and hatred and how Julian himself thought that staying on the proper path would save him. Lena tries to encourage him that there is a better way but remains to have conflicting thoughts about Julian as she grows to love him but doesn't want to betray Alex's memory.
With the help of a community of Invalids living in the tunnels, they manage to get to a homestead called Salvage. The next morning, regulators come in to arrest them though the regulator with Lena turns out to be a member of the resistance, one who won't allow Lena to see her face.
Lena returns to the Wilds where Raven and Tack reveal that the entire event was a test to learn her true loyalty to the resistance and to convert Julian to their side by having him fall in love with Lena. Julian has not been saved by the resistance and will instead by executed in New York for refusing the cure while showing signs of the deliria. Disgusted, Lena leaves the resistance and goes back into New York to save Julian. While there, she finds information that reveals her mother was the regulator who saved her life but refused to show her face.
Lena makes it into the room which Julian is about to executed in but realizes it's too late for her to do anything. Just as Julian is about to be killed, Raven comes in and her and Lena manage to free Julian while also killing his father in the process.
They all make it back to the Wilds where Lena to Julian stay with him forever. A voice behind them says, "Don't believe her," and Lena turns around to see Alex behind her, alive and well once more.
